Warmer than the winds of June—South Pacific

The Island of Kauai

This was our first visit to Kauai and we definitely thought the natural beauty of the island was far better then Oahu and Maui. We took a drive to Waimea Canyon which was amazing. We got to see a monk seal laying on the beach in front of the condo from about 20 feet away. We also took a train ride around a sugar plantation (twice – because Evan loved it so much).

wild chickens out number humans on Kauai like 10:1!
